The Raja Muda Selangor International Regatta (RMSIR) is one of Asia’s most prestigious sailing events, combining thrilling offshore racing with vibrant coastal celebrations. Held annually, this iconic regatta takes participants on a unique journey through Malaysia’s stunning west coast, from Port Klang to Langkawi, with stops at picturesque destinations like Pangkor Island and Penang. Organized by the Royal Selangor Yacht Club (RSYC), the RMSIR attracts an international fleet of sailors, offering a perfect blend of competitive racing, camaraderie, and cultural experiences, making it a highlight in the regional sailing calendar.
